PMI Announces Upcoming Release of PMI Falcon, an Investigative Timeline Generator Built for Case Review and Evidence-Based Chronology

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — June 20, 2026 — PMI | Preventative Measures Investigation announces today that PMI Falcon, a standalone investigative timeline generator developed for investigators, law enforcement personnel, legal professionals, and case analysts, is scheduled for release on July 1, 2026.

After months of development, testing, redesign, and field-focused refinement, PMI Falcon is nearing its initial public release as a native Windows desktop application built to help investigative professionals organize case events into clear, visual, evidence-supported timelines.

PMI Falcon was designed to address a common challenge in investigative work: case information is often scattered across reports, body-worn camera notes, 911/CAD records, witness statements, evidence logs, public records, medical documentation, court filings, and investigator notes. Falcon allows users to bring those events into a single chronological workspace where the sequence of events can be reviewed, analyzed, and exported.

“Investigations are built on timelines,” said a PMI representative. “Whether the case involves criminal defense, prosecution review, law enforcement casework, private investigations, civil matters, insurance claims, or internal reviews, understanding what happened and when it happened is critical. PMI Falcon was developed to help investigators see the case clearly.”

PMI Falcon includes a visual horizontal timeline, event collision protection to prevent overlapping timeline entries, multiple zoom levels ranging from year view to second-level review, evidence references, event confidence classifications, audit logs, and export tools. The program is designed for offline use and does not require a cloud account, browser-based platform, or internet connection for day-to-day operation.

The software supports a wide range of investigative and legal case types, including criminal prosecution, criminal defense, law enforcement investigations, private investigations, process service documentation, missing persons matters, insurance investigations, civil litigation, administrative reviews, intelligence-related casework, and use-of-force review.

Key features of PMI Falcon include:

  • Native offline Windows desktop operation

  • Visual horizontal investigative timeline

  • Zoom controls for long-term and incident-level case review

  • Event stacking to prevent overlapping timeline cards

  • Case event documentation

  • Evidence reference tracking

  • SHA-256 file hashing support

  • Confidence classifications for timeline events

  • Audit log functionality

  • HTML and CSV export capability

  • Reports exported to the user’s Windows Downloads folder

  • Local customer data storage

  • Demo case function for training and review

PMI Falcon is being released as a fixed-rate software product, allowing customers to purchase and own the program rather than operate under a recurring subscription model.

The software was developed with investigative users in mind and is intended to assist with lawful documentation, organization, case review, and reporting. PMI Falcon does not make automated determinations of guilt, liability, probable cause, or legal sufficiency. Instead, it provides investigators and authorized users with a structured tool to organize, review, and present case chronology.

PMI expects PMI Falcon to be available beginning July 1, 2026.
