PMI | Preventative Measures Investigation is preparing for the upcoming release of PMI Falcon v3.7, a custom-built investigative timeline and case management software program designed to help investigators, law enforcement personnel, legal professionals, private investigation agencies, prosecution teams, defense teams, and case analysts organize complex case information into clear, visual, evidence-supported timelines.

PMI Falcon v3.7 is currently undergoing final testing by PMI’s team to ensure the software meets the agency’s operational standards before release. The software was developed as a standalone offline Windows desktop program, allowing users to manage investigative timelines and case information without requiring a web browser, internet connection, localhost server, cloud account, online login, or subscription portal. Customer data is stored locally on the user’s own Windows computer, giving agencies and professionals control over their case files, evidence records, exports, settings, backups, and logs. This offline design is an important part of the platform’s purpose, especially for investigative and legal environments where privacy, reliability, and control over case data matter.

Modern investigations often involve information from many different sources, including 911 calls, CAD records, body-worn camera footage, dashcam footage, law enforcement reports, witness statements, subject statements, forensic findings, medical records, court events, evidence logs, subpoenas, warrants, digital evidence, intelligence leads, and investigative notes. PMI Falcon was built to help bring that scattered information into one organized case chronology. The software allows users to create case events, classify confidence levels, document sources, organize evidence, review case details, and export case materials for review. Its purpose is to help users understand what happened, when it happened, where the information came from, and whether an event is confirmed, supported, claimed, conflicting, or unverified.

The core feature of PMI Falcon v3.7 is its linear horizontal case timeline. Users can enter case events and view them as visual cards positioned according to date and time. Each event card can display key information such as the event title, date and time, category, confidence level, visual indicator, and conflict warning where applicable. This allows investigators and analysts to convert complex case material into a clean visual timeline that can be reviewed, filtered, and analyzed. The program was specifically designed to assist with case chronology, evidence organization, event documentation, investigative review, and report preparation.

One of the major improvements in PMI Falcon v3.7 is automatic event collision protection. When multiple events occur close together in time, the software prevents event cards from overlapping by stacking them vertically while keeping them anchored to the correct chronological position. This is especially useful in high-density timelines involving 911 calls, CAD activity, body-worn camera events, crime scene response, arrest sequences, use-of-force reviews, process service field activity, interviews, and statement comparisons. The result is a cleaner and more readable timeline, even when multiple events occur within minutes or seconds of each other.

PMI Falcon v3.7 also includes expanded zoom controls, allowing users to review timelines at different levels of detail. Available zoom modes include Auto, Year, Month, Week, Day, Hour, Minute, and Second. This allows a user to review long-term case patterns or zoom deeply into a short incident sequence where seconds and minutes may matter. The software also includes a Fit Timeline function that automatically centers the visual timeline around the selected case events, helping users open a case and immediately locate the relevant timeline information without unnecessary dragging or searching.

The software includes an evidence management section where users can document evidence records connected to a case. Evidence entries may include the evidence title, category, file reference, source, date received, notes, and linked timeline events. PMI Falcon also includes SHA-256 hashing capability for evidence files, providing an integrity reference that can help show whether a file has changed since it was added to the system. For investigative casework, attorney review, digital evidence organization, report preparation, and chain-of-custody support, this feature adds important value to the case management process.

PMI Falcon v3.7 is designed for professional investigative environments, including private investigations, law enforcement case review, criminal defense investigations, prosecution timeline preparation, civil litigation support, insurance investigations, corporate investigations, missing person cases, internal review matters, intelligence analysis, process service documentation, and forensic case review. The platform can assist users with identifying contradictions, reviewing discovery gaps, comparing witness statements, documenting investigative actions, tracking evidence, and building a clear chronology from complex case materials.

PMI is currently running PMI Falcon v3.7 through final testing to ensure the software performs properly and meets PMI’s standards before release. The final testing phase includes review of the timeline system, event collision handling, zoom controls, evidence management, local data storage, export functions, demo case controls, audit logging, and overall usability. PMI understands that investigative software must be dependable. In serious casework, details matter. Timelines matter. Evidence matters. The ability to organize and explain case information can directly affect how a matter is reviewed, understood, and acted upon.

PMI Falcon v3.7 represents a major step forward in investigative case organization, timeline development, and evidence-supported case review. The software was built because serious investigations require serious organization. Whether a case involves criminal defense, prosecution review, fraud, forensic analysis, missing persons, civil litigation, or intelligence work, investigators need the ability to see the full sequence of events clearly and understand the sources behind each entry.

PMI | Preventative Measures Investigation will announce additional release information as final testing is completed. PMI Falcon v3.7 is expected to be released soon.
