PMI Falcon was built to help bring that scattered information into one organized case chronology. Each event card can display key information such as the event title, date and time, category, confidence level, visual indicator, and conflict warning where applicable. The program was specifically designed to assist with case chronology, evidence organization, event documentation, investigative review, and report preparation.

One of the major improvements in PMI Falcon v3.7 is automatic event collision protection. When multiple events occur close together in time, the software prevents event cards from overlapping by stacking them vertically while keeping them anchored to the correct chronological position. This is especially useful in high-density timelines involving 911 calls, CAD activity, body-worn camera events, crime scene response, arrest sequences, use-of-force reviews, process service field activity, interviews, and statement comparisons. The result is a cleaner and more readable timeline, even when multiple events occur within minutes or seconds of each other.

PMI Falcon v3.7 also includes expanded zoom controls, allowing users to review timelines at different levels of detail. Available zoom modes include Auto, Year, Month, Week, Day, Hour, Minute, and Second. This allows a user to review long-term case patterns or zoom deeply into a short incident sequence where seconds and minutes may matter. The software also includes a Fit Timeline function that automatically centers the visual timeline around the selected case events, helping users open a case and immediately locate the relevant timeline information without unnecessary dragging or searching.

The software includes an evidence management section where users can document evidence records connected to a case. Evidence entries may include the evidence title, category, file reference, source, date received, notes, and linked timeline events. PMI Falcon also includes SHA-256 hashing capability for evidence files, providing an integrity reference that can help show whether a file has changed since it was added to the system. For investigative casework, attorney review, digital evidence organization, report preparation, and chain-of-custody support, this feature adds important value to the case management process.
